Everything you need to succeed with Estate Sale Connect

Welcome to Estate Sale Connect

Families describe their estate once. Local estate sale companies see the request, reach out, and the family picks one. Estate Sale Connect is where you find those requests, keep track of the sales that follow, and give families and shoppers a page to find you on.

Your Account Is Free

Leads and sale listings are free for estate sale professionals. There is no per-lead fee and no credit card required — just verify your email and start browsing leads.

Lead Marketplace

Finding the Right Leads

Navigate to Browse Leads to see every open request in your area.

Accessing Contact Information

Getting Contact Details (free, unlimited)

  • Click "Get Contact Info" on any lead
  • The family's name, email, phone and address appear on the card
  • The first time you open a lead we also email you the details for your records
  • The lead is marked "Contact Info Accessed" and added to your Dashboard, where you keep notes and a pipeline stage for it

Move Fast on New Leads

When a request arrives we email the five nearest companies straight away, and every company serving that ZIP can see it. There is no cap on how many companies open a lead, so the first thoughtful, prompt contact usually gets the conversation. A lead leaves the marketplace only when the family closes it, a company books the sale, or it ages out on the family's own timeline.

Email Alerts

Alerts are matched on the ZIP codes in your service areas and on the "How far you travel" radius in your profile. Fill both in on the Account page, and choose how often you want to hear from us under Notifications.

Sales Management

Two different things, on purpose

A public listing (under Sale listings, or the Post a sale button) is what buyers see: its own page, photos, Google. A sales record (under Sales records) is your private bookkeeping: the client, the revenue, the commission, the contract. Nothing in a record is ever shown to the public. An upcoming record has a Post as a public listing button that opens the editor with the dates and address filled in, and a finished listing has Record the results that does the same the other way.

Recording a Sale

  1. Click "Record a sale" under Sales records
  2. Enter client information and sale dates
  3. Add the property address
  4. Set revenue and commission rate (default 35%)
  5. Upload contracts, inventories, or invoices
  6. Add notes for important details

Recording a Sale from a Lead

Mark the lead Won

When you move a lead to Won in your Dashboard, you are offered a short form to create the sale record with the family's details already filled in. A sale created this way is linked to the lead it came from, and the lead comes off the marketplace for every other company. Only do it for a sale you have actually booked.

Document Management

Public Sale Listings

Under Sale listings you can publish the sales you are running, with photos, dates and a street address that appears on a schedule you choose. Each listing gets its own page on the site, appears on the browse page and in Google, and is emailed to shoppers who follow you or your area.

The Digital Line

Tick Digital line on a listing and you can retire the paper sign-up sheet. Print the sign it gives you and put it at the door; shoppers scan the QR code when they arrive and get the next number on their phone, for themselves and up to four people with them. On sale day, open the door page on your phone: tap Next 5 to let the next five groups in, and every shopper’s phone tells them where they are in line. Numbers restart each morning, the line opens 48 hours before your start time, and you can pause it or issue a new code at any time. Free, and off unless you switch it on.

Prefer to take sign-ups before the sale? Choose Sign up in advance under the same box. We fill in a schedule from your sale dates — each day at your hours, the opening hour as its own block, then two-hour arrival windows, each taking up to 20 groups — and you change the hours, blocks and limits however you like, counting groups or people. The sale page then lists each day with a sign-up link; shoppers pick a day and a block and get a number for it. You watch the list fill on the door page and in the listing, get an email each evening somebody signs up, and on the day you call the block you are working. Shoppers who leave an email address get a reminder the evening before, can cancel or change block themselves, and are told if you take the sale down; a full block offers a waitlist. Numbers are per block, so “number 4 in the 9:00 block” means fourth through the door at nine.
