Use Sales records to keep your private books: client, dates, revenue, commission rate, notes and contracts. Nothing there is shown to the public. To put a sale in front of buyers, use Sale listings or the Post a sale button; an upcoming record has a "Post as a public listing" button that carries the dates and address across.

Your connection to the site is encrypted, and your client details, sales figures and documents are private to your account. Your public profile shows only what you choose to publish, and your business address is never published anywhere on the site.
